LIFE Kids Ministry at ROL
At River of Life Church, our kids aged 3 to 5 years old and K-5 experience a safe, age-appropriate environment where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. This happens during our Sunday morning services. Children are dismissed after the in-service worship to "The Barn" (exit to the left of the stage) where the children engage in games and learn about who Jesus is in a fun and age appropriate way until the service is finished.
Your First Visit
Here's what to expect when visiting LIFE Kids for the first time: The LIFE kids check-in area is in the foyer upstairs just outside the auditorium. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will give your child a name tag. Children will be dismissed part-way through the service to move to LIFE Kids. If your child is shy, you are welcome to go with them when they are dismissed.
How Check-in Works
Before Service: Your child is checked in at the Life Kids station in the upstairs foyer. After Service: After the service is done, you will find your child in the basement by the LIFE Kids wall across from the coffee bar.
Meet our LIFE Kids Director - Emily Frose
Hi, my name is Emily Frose, and I am one of the leaders for Life Kids! I have been attending River of Life since I was in JOLT youth and now attend with my husband Tyler, and our son Niko. I have a deep love for this church and seeing all generations feel connected, cared about and given the opportunity to learn more about Jesus. Watching children learn, grow and become excited about things is a great joy, and having that opportunity to watch them become more passionate about their faith in Jesus is even better! I hope that your children, grandchildren or simply the children you care a lot about have fun at Life Kids learning truths about the bible through reading, playing games, singing songs and crafts. When I'm not at church, I am an elementary school teacher here in Chilliwack. You can also find our family involved in the worship team on Sundays, camping, enjoying God's creation, and watching all kinds of sports.
